Morgantown Rod and Gun Club Meeting Minutes March 28th, 2026

Meeting Called to Order:

·         7:00 pm by President Brian Ink.

Members in Attendance:

·         There were 13 members attendance.  There were no new or returning applicants.

Minutes of Last Meeting:

·         Read by Secretary Josh Creswell, motion to accept by Dalton Ink, seconded by Lee Maxwell.

Treasurer Report:

·         Read by Treasurer Jeff Creswell, motion to accept by Bob Grimley, seconded by Dalton Ink.

·         Income came from the shotgun shoot, shoot kitchen, shoot raffle, Spring raffle tickets, dues, and donations.

·         Expenses included electric, shotgun shoot, shoot kitchen, shoot raffle, Spring taxes, and the credit card for website renewal and a stamp pad.

New Business:

·         The IRS assigned the club a tax numbers and the club can finally start filing.  No income taxes will need to be paid, but the club needs to file for banking and investment purposes.

·         In legal news, concealed carry may pass in New Jersey.

New Members:

·         There were no new members.

Old Business:

·         None

Unfinished Business:

·         The club signed up with Starlink for internet access and will soon install camaras for security.

·         Donny Myers will cover the drive way with millings on Saturday, April 24^th and Sunday, April 25^th.  The club will be closed those days.

·         April 12^th will be the last shotgun shoot of the season.  The Spring raffle will be drawn.  Brian and Jason Ink will not be attending the nest shoot in August.

·         For the Whitetails event, four big rut tables have been sold so far in addition to the two tables purchased for the club and one captain’s table.  Only a few individual tickets have been sold by the club so far.
