The United States Concealed Carry Association Basic Handgun Course objective is to teach the responsibly armed American the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to own and use firearms in a safe and effective manner, and to introduce them to the concealed carry lifestyle.

The course will include training in the following areas,

Self Defense Firearms Basics

Choosing a Handgun

Ammunition Selection and Storage

Defensive Shooting Fundamentals

Gear and Gadgets

Basic and Advanced Skills

Developing a Training Program

Firearm Safety will be stressed throughout the course with recommendations for the safe storage and securing of your firearms as well.

You will receive a copy of “Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals” by Michael Martin, Chief Instructor of the USCCA, as well as other materials and information.

During the live fire portion of the program you will be instructed in the “point” or instinctive shooting technique as well as flash sight picture and front sight focus techniques of defensive shooting.

This class is approximately eight hours in length, and is limited to eight students. Space is filling up fast. You will need your defensive handgun, 200 rounds of ammunition, and the owner’s manual for your pistol. You will also need to know how to break down your pistol for cleaning.

Upon passing the course you will receive a USCCA Certificate of Completion.

Couse fee (including lunch and materials) is $125.00
